Participants will experience how to take your picture books and novels to new levels with embedding the Design Process into the story through Novel Engineering. This session will show participants the steps in how to easily infuse cross curricular content and the Launch Cycle. This demonstration will also include a variety of grade level lessons, as well as options for low and high tech to that support the resources available to them in their district. We will show you seamless ways to use tech as a tool to enhance the engagement of your students and provide 21st skill building opportunities.
In this presentation, we discuss ways to celebrate literacy and build a literacy rich environment. We will take the audience through activities to make literacy more engaging, resources to get books for a low price, and offer some really engaging titles for middle school students. Additionally, we discuss strategies and resources for managing classroom libraries.
