This session is meant to help teachers take students from learning about civics and civic engagement into active participation through a variety of thinking and writing activities. While the activities presented were developed by a high school social studies teacher for use in his classroom, participants will take away multiple blankline master activities that can be adapted for a variety of age levels and subject areas.
