What exactly is dialogue  and are we truly engaging in this highly supported high impact classroom strategy? Most educators believe Dialogue is just getting our students to talk in partners or collaborative groups. However, dialogue for engagement, equity, and deep learning is a detailed and purposeful approach to learning. Dialogue can be  one of the best vehicles for helping students learn how to think for themselves, make moral decisions and understand varying points of view. In this engaging and motivational session, participants will explore various strategies to enhance dialogue and ensure deeper and lasting learning for ALL students.  As a result of attending this session, participants will: understand how to facilitate dialogue for deep learning at the classroom, building or district level. examine and practice strategies and tools to support immediate implementation of promoting dialogue for deep learning plan at least one Dialogue for Deep Learning Strategy through their own context.
