Hamilton County CUSD 10 implemented blended learning at the start of the 2013-14 school year in 2nd grade. After seeing tremendous results, the program expanded to grades Kindergarten-6th grade over the next several years. An evaluation based on NWEA's Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) shows students in grades using blended learning outperform students not using a blended learning model.
This session focuses on how PLCs work to make our school truly student-centered. By giving students the authority, capacity, and responsibility to own their learning, our school empowers student and builds motivation to increase student achievement. Our team will share tools and approaches to foster collaboration and student ownership.
