Engaging Reading Strategies for Differentiation

This one hour session will provide teachers with an array of instructional strategies and tools to differentiate reading and facilitate an engaging classroom environment. The strategies will also include various technology components for literacy instruction.

Guided reading does not just consist of one leveled book. Come to learn about The Cafe Strategies by the two sisters, Gail Boushey & Joan Moser to spice up your guided reading groups. Through this engaging session you will learn how to embed guided reading into a balanced literacy model, and make your groups truly flexible.  Each strategy presented supports the standards and helps you provide better conversations with your students.  Students will quickly take onus of their learning.  You will see student growth skyrocket!
